1. Who we are

KosherNomad (koshernomad.org) is an independent kosher food and restaurant directory serving users in the United Arab Emirates and beyond. The site is operated by an individual ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using KosherNomad you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Information accuracy

KosherNomad compiles listing information in good faith from publicly available sources, direct submissions, and community contributions. We do not hold a kosher certification authority and do not independently verify the kosher status of every product or restaurant listed. Listings are provided for informational purposes only. Always confirm kosher certification directly with the venue or certifying agency before relying on any listing for halachic decisions.

3. Intellectual property

All content on KosherNomad - including but not limited to text, listings, search infrastructure, design, product data, restaurant descriptions, and the compiled database - is the intellectual property of KosherNomad and is protected under applicable UAE and international copyright law.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, scrape, mirror, sell, or create derivative works from any part of this site without our prior written permission. This prohibition applies to automated tools, bots, scripts, and any other means of bulk data extraction. Unauthorised scraping or republication of our data - in whole or in part - constitutes copyright infringement and may result in legal action.

4. Permitted use

You may use KosherNomad to:

• Search for kosher products and restaurants for personal, non-commercial use
• Share individual product or restaurant page links
• Submit new listings or corrections through our contact form

Any commercial use of the data, including operating a competing directory or enriching a third-party database, requires a separate written licence agreement.

5. No warranties

KosherNomad is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that listings are complete, current, or error-free. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information on this site, including but not limited to the consumption of a product found to be non-kosher after the fact.

6. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites (delivery apps, certification bodies, restaurant websites). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.

7. Privacy and data

KosherNomad uses anonymous analytics only. We do not collect personal data, set tracking cookies, or share user information with third parties. No account or registration is required to use the site.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from use of KosherNomad that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), conducted in English in Dubai.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
